We give tax when we buy any goods or services.
We give tax when we earn salary.
We give tax for our land upon which we stay and do cultivate.
We give tax for road on which we ride our vehicle.
We give tax for foods, dress, shelter, health, security, education, electricity, internet, telephone and even water etc. etc. that’s to all the fundamental necessities.
Still Govt wants us to give up the subsidy merely Rs. 200 on cooking gas, for whom.
Do you agree on this as a reasonable campaign? I’m not. If Govt thinks nation building is first priority then why do they give subsidies? It’s the cheap practices over livelihood of common man?
Even though I am ready to #GiveItUp but my question to Govt, how justifiable is it for Govt to give Re. 1 per 1 Kg rice and all other freebies that to the reservation category on caste basis without knowing who’s supposed to get the support and who’s not.
Which are the categories only concerns for the Govt? We have seen the sections of general category who still are not economically good and stay in houses that are neither protective nor standard, they too don’t have electricity at all and equally live like other poor sections of society. Their children do lag the basic rights to education, health etc. Have you seen any political party will be raising their voices for such under privileged? Not at all.
Up to my mind – our forefathers didn’t build the constitution based upon caste, creed, religion, tax and reservation.
So sorry we couldn’t stop the biasness, discrimination and corruption and these did let us down.
Hope justice will prevail one day but we won’t be there to enjoy it.
Last but not least, the Govt defends the political parties not to disclose their funds under RTI but expects the same from public. Isn’t it the 8th wonder theory in world?
Irrespective of all, what do we get from Govt? Our children get graduated from private institutions, we get health services from private hospital etc. etc. We keep cherishing for not getting engaged with all above and keep dreaming about a better nation.
Raise your voice and ask for accountability. It’s not only #GiveItUp but also #GainItUp the substantially substitute that we give.
